Continuing with the aim of practising the oral expression in English small groups, this time we went to a restaurant and we ordered a delicious pizza with lots of ingredients.

Children were super interested in this project. They have known more about their friends and teachers. Do they have pets at home? We practiced the grammar structure «Have you got a…» with their correct answers «Yes, I have» and «No, I haven’t».
The children of 3º E.I. have been learning about our friends, the penguins. Here you can see how many things we have learnt: penguins are birds that can´t fly, they live in the South Pole… and we have had a great time singing and waddling like them! We hope you enjoy the video!
In 6th of Primary we are learning about food and recipes in English.
That’s why we have participated in MasterChef TV programme and we have prepared some delicious dishes!
Here we have a short but very well done English presentation about the environment. This work comes of a Live Session that some students took last week amid the DUAL program. They’ve discussed problems and solutions related to the topic. Let’s find out what they’ve learnt. Thanks a lot, Lucy and Christina.
It’s Archie the squirrel’s birthday! And the students of 2nd and 3rd of IE have been invited to his party. We sang a lot of songs and we met different characters. Thanks to the Forum Theatre and Education Company, we have reviewed our english vocabulary about body parts, colours, numbers and animals. How fun!
The last Live session some DUAL students have recently had dealt with sport, physical activity and how important it is in teenagers’ lives. Let’s listen to some of the girls who are studying the American program discussing this topic.
As we’re currently studying a unit that deals with diet and nutrition, we are making the most of it. So, we’re also learning to read the nutrition facts label on packaging. That way our students kill two birds with one stone: they’re studying a new topic while they’re taking care of themselves, being well aware of the importance of a balanced and varied diet.
In third of Primary we have learnt about illnesses and health problems. We have been at the doctor’s office and use medical equipment too! Will we have the flu or Covid-19? Find out what the symptoms are and what the doctor´s recommends.
Amid DUAL diploma studies, once or twice a month, students have to attend Live Sessions (an online meeting with their teacher). The topics discussed are varied, relevant and very interesting. They not only help students to understand English and gain new lexis, owing to that, they are also able to think and explain their point of view adding a well organized reasoning. Let’s see two DUAL students sharing their latest experience. Thanks Ana and Eunate.
¡Muchas gracias, Samuel!
In 3º of preschool we are reviewing the first and second group of Jolly Phonics through fun songs, worksheets and games. We know very well what movements and sounds correspond to each graphic. In addition, we have begun to read simple words that contain them as we show you in this video.
In English sessions we split the class into small groups to practice oral expression. This time, the topic in 2nd grade was «Food» and we went shopping to the market!
Infant school means learning every day everywhere. This time, during the hosting period of the little ones and all through October and a bit of November, 3-year-old children have learnt about toilet routines in English: doing a wee wee, washing hands and drinking water. It’s a great achievement for our youngest students! Congratulations!
